there is a trick to it though. you cant do it without a trick. bbecause usb creator somehow only works for ubuntu/mint by default.

  2. OSGUIShow says:

    yes I think so
it all depends on the computer ur trying to run it from for if it will work or not

  3. OSGUIShow says:

  4. OSGUIShow says:

  7. jaluttrell says:

Mr OSGUI, I have a question, can you put linux on any format? could you make a startup SD card for netbooks?

  8. zikalify says:

    lol ok

  9. OSGUIShow says:

umm that comment was not for you, oops
which site though? my site, the one that all my videos advertise

  10. OSGUIShow says:

you might be able to, but it’s too hard for me to bother with… since I have so many USB sticks, I would set one up for Nvidia machines and another up for ATI if I wanted 3D graphics when using them….
I have had troubles switching from ATI to Nvidia drivers on the same linux system as in xorg needs to be resetup and it kinda does not do it on its own…

  11. zikalify says:

    @OSGUIShow which site?

  12. De4dSpace says:

Really, that sux. It works so nice on my grannies old machine. I really wish I could maximize performance for several PCs. More partitions, I guess. I was actually reading about “LiveCD-persistence” this weekend, came home to see you covered it at the same time, lol. You sure you cant make different user accounts with separate xorg’s? Can you even change the default pswd?

  13. OSGUIShow says:

no i don’t think you should try to install graphics drivers on the usb stick os coz its not designed for long term heavy work

  14. OSGUIShow says:

you should help OSGUI rather than that site

  15. De4dSpace says:

It auto logs in as ubuntu@ubuntu with the password ” ”
When you create a new user, it still boots into the default ubuntu@ubuntu.
I downloaded Nvidia graphics drivers for one PC using the newly created user, and asks for the default ” ” pswd.
When I plugged it into a system with an ATI Video Card the screen just goes black.

Can I make several users that each use different graphics drivers?

  16. OSGUIShow says:

    no wtf

  17. librano says:

Just keep making good videos… There’s no holding back good content. It is bound to get out there and gain momentum. Just look at OMG Ubuntu… He/She/They’ve come out of nowhere and are now pretty much my go to source for Ubuntu news etc. You can’t beat quality content.

  18. zikalify says:

oh dear you messed this up didnt you xD

  19. OSGUIShow says:

yes – see my video on installing ubuntu on eeepc

for newbies like you I recommend Linux Mint 8

  20. 1234flamingkitsunes says:

    That is true lol

  21. Bulldog22031 says:

can I do a full install this way? I want to get rid of windows on my older laptop (new PC and I want to have that as backup with something that is guaranteed stable, ie – linux). I want to do a clean install, wipe everything, etc.

Also, what is the coolest looking linux? I know they are all stable, and since I am not really a developer, visual appeal is a must for me.

  22. OSGUIShow says:

yeah mate I’m just jealous of her status to be honest, guess that won’t change until OSGUI surpasses her fame level

  23. librano says:

Hm… I hardly think she has hit the ‘big time’… And I think most of her ‘fame’ is from her association with the Suicide Girls. Then, she also does game reviews which draws in a different crowd.

As for community, I have no idea how she is with others or if she is run by a company… and frankly, there are more important things to worry about IMO.

  24. OSGUIShow says:

she does not accept most video responses because she does not want to help anyone else get her viewers
she does not subscribe back to any of the other tech shows except for her other fake friends
i think she is run by a company like a scam and paid her way into the big time

  25. OSGUIShow says:

    well her advise is sub-standard
    she seems fake to me
    her boobs don’t impress me
she using sony vagas to edit her videos then lies and talks about kdenlive
she has 10,000 + subscribers which seems fake
