you do have compiz! it comes with Ubuntu 10.04, you just need a frontend for it. you can enable compiz by going to system > preferences > appearance > effects, and selecting extra. a good frontend is compizconfig.

@IIYOYOII17 “windows does a job at this…why change”? Because i don’t own windows, and have no intention of buying it. If your happy with windows than don’t change, though it makes me confused as to why your watching a tutorial on linux, lol. Then again, there’s nothing sexier than a redhead using the terminal o0

Years ago I bought a PC to bvideo component which allows me to record anything on my monitor screen and I can have it running all day long. Problem is I lose quality of picture since the device must change digital to VCR. I can record ANYTHING!!!!

  14. Perdoct says:

@SneakyTweaky they have no control over other people running their webservers off of linux. their using the website not linux. theyd have to bitch about linux then run a server off of it. or use it to be a hypocrite. you and the 34 other dipshits that thumbed this up need to learn what the word means before you use it.

Hey, I need some help. Everything goes down fine, except that when I view the recording, my cursor is not the one I use (The default Ubunu 10.04 cursor), but one that resembles the Windows XP cursor. Can anyone help me with this?
