Ubuntu 9.10 “Karmic Koala” is a total crap… Jaunty was way lot better… I’m not undermining Karmic’s new UI, or features such as Ubuntu One, Empathy, Ubiquity Slide-show etc, but unless updated Karmic is a crap! And, the networking(ADSL esp.) just dont work!
Unstable?You really need to learn something about ubuntu,in fact ubuntu is more stable the n any windows operating system,you think sony vegas is better then? Kdenlive,that is a program like sony vegas pro,just a little better,you are so stupid,you installed windows programs on ubuntu,what did you expect?It does’t run smooth because those are windows programs NOT ubunut,wine isn’t that good,you have awsome programs and games for ubuntu,better then windows,so stop talking about stupid things.

@Tikkyca It is very unstable compared to other Operating Systems. I had it recently dual booted with Windows 7, and applications such as Sony Vegas Pro 9, Tweetdeck, ETC. didn’t run too smoothly.. And, it is a terrific Operating System for Free!
@Dnab55 You can run programs in Wine but not every Windows program is compatible. Who knows – Ubuntu is always getting updated so one day, it might have support for a lot of the Windows programs

Anatolie, 1:48 NO NO NO! They cant charge you for the software BUT they can charge you for putting it on a CD and they CAN charge you for sending it to you. Since open source is free it means the software is free, doesnt mean my time is free or diesel is free or flying it over to your house is free. They recover the costs through other means.
