    RIP Compiz with Gnome3

    The reason why it’s “free” is because it’s made by people who enjoy making it “work”; there is such a thing as a passion for programming. People who have a passion for it obviously will work hard to make it work fine, and it does. Linux isn’t perfect, but neither is Mac or Windows.

    And so what if DOS boots under 3 seconds? The programs being run are bogged down by Vista/7′s excess commit charge regardless, and being torn between piracy or over $2,000 in programs? Duh.

    Windows may be easier

  3. JamesManes says:

    Yes, DOS boots in under 3 seconds and runs programs near instant. Its faster than Linux. Also, Linux’s API’s and ABI’s change constantly. Linux is not stable for this very reason.

    Free, not a selling point as companies something that “works.” Not something thats “free.”

  4. Eientatsu says:

    I agree with all of it except software-center i need to add packages and use apt-get way to much

    stfu!!

  6. hardcorrr3 says:

    @JamesManes

    Linux is not only faster but also much more stable than Windows. And all the programs you need to install can be found easily using Software-Center. And the best part is … It’s all free :-)

  7. JamesManes says:

    @Eientatsu Exactly. Speed is a stupid argument. Very stupid. So what if linux boots faster, that doesn’t make it better.

  8. Eientatsu says:

    @jsobers1331 look through his vids

  9. Eientatsu says:
