Hello from Yorba, makers of Shotwell. Thanks for the video review! Actually Shotwell does allow dragging photos onto tags, so if that’s not working then that’s a bug. I’d like to know exactly which operating system version you’re running and how you got Shotwell (from our PPA? Or did you build it yourself?) If you’d like to follow up with me at adam@yorba.org then maybe we can figure it out. In general we agree with your feature suggestions – in particular, at some point we’d like Shotwell to watch folders for newly added photos, just like you suggest.

I use Ubuntu but i like digikam ,although it’s a KDE app ,for managing and editing my photos! i think it’s the best
