Response video to www.youtube.com Not the most amazing Linux success story of the world, but it still shows that Linux is indeed a very advanced OS. Btw, in the video I forgot to add that all the audio buttons on the remote work properly. I can use it to control Rhythmbox.
Thanks, good friend. I just had the opportunity to watch this after much traveling.
Awesome set-up. I will need to give that a go sometime soon.
yep awesome
your one of the top contributors
That’s not only OSGUI in the recent sites, that’s OSGUI on the first speed dial!
Awesome Video
I’m yet to try my old PC remote controls as I have had no need to use them as I dont mind getting up to walk over to the PC to change whats playing… But I should try it … thanks…
I loved how I could see OSGUI website in your recent sites on Firefox.
@EdgyRootStudios
Im also trying some awesome technology hehe remotely at my mom or brother’s computers
@EdgyRootStudios
Haha, no
Just my brother – one Ubuntu/W.Vista laptop, mother – one Ubuntu laptop, me Arch Linux desktop, me Arch Linux laptop, me Debian desktop
Couldn’t resist this little slap in Eric’s direction.
You are building your own server farm?
i also had some issues with Ir but, im going to try ur suggestions
os teeeeeeen lol
The volume is very useful.
I confirm – I had the same surprise as I installed a laptop for a friend – there was a remote control with it and it worked out of the box – except for two buttons every button works as it should.
Anyway, nice story
5/5
@EdgyRootStudios
I have 5 Linux computers, and all hardware is supported out-of-box or only need to install nvidia drivers nothing else – plug and play.
Great job
Sweet man, thanks for sharing that story!
Nice to notice that you’re using speed dial with Firefox. My own little Ubuntu success story came when I got a Logitech Trackman wireless. No drivers install needed and it fully supported heck gnome notifier even tell me when the battery is bellow 14% and until I change the battery I have an alert widget on my top gnome panel.
Hm…most used software….probably firefox? haha. Yeah that and kdenlive, gimp, rhythmbox and gtk-recordmydesktop.
Great work! Nice succes story
I like your setup too. Linux FTW! Btw, what is the most used software on your Linux machine?
