I have Window’s Vista Home Basic?
I tried it and it didn’t work.
Should it have worked? Or did I just do something wrong?

Doesn’t work on my release candidate, I don’t think. I have a question though. I burned the .iso file on a blank CD. There were two burn options “Windows live assistant” (Or something) and “Mastered”. I burned using mastered (Hope that makes sense). Was that what I was supposed to do?

    Yes I had,

Ive burned a new Cd with konboot on it, and this one seems to work untill you have to press a button as seen on 2:03 at your video. I don’t get the next screen (the kon-boot logo). Instead mine just shows a flashing stripe _.. Which by the way i have to get rid of by pressing the power button..

Any idea as to what might be the problem here?

    Hi mate,

I got Windows Vista Home Premium and I forgot my password, now ive burned Kon-boot (the .iso file I unzipped from the download) onto my last CD as a data disc with nero burning rom 6. When i try to boot from CD it doesnt work, I press F12 on boot, select PATA ODD : TSST corpCD/DVDW and so on, press enter but nothing happens..

I’m kinda out of ideas, so was just wondering if you had any:)

yeah its safe to use I have not had any problems, the only way to protect yourself from Kon-Boot is to use truecrypt to encrypt the whole drive.
