what is the login and password for backtrack 4 final vmware image?

  5. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

SU = Substitute User. Pre-facing with Su allows something to be ran as a Root user (Similar to that of an Administrator).

  6. BlueSpinz4 says:

i also got “run it as root”…You typed “sudo su”. So what does “su” mean?

  10. weirdo666666 says:

From what I’ve seen it is. I’ll try it again later.

  11. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

It’s possible. I always recommend installing the Virtual Machine over running it Live. Lots of additional benefits. I’ve never used VMWare Fusion but I assume the interface is similar to that of VMWare Player or Workstation.

He just takes the modem to work with him. and I tried VMware fusion but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. Oh well. I’m re-installing my OS this coming weekend anyways you reckon partitioning off like 20 GB of my hard drive for backtrack would work any better?

  13. skizel8576 says:

thanks 4 the help will try it now

  14. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

Increase the amount of de-authentication requests and? ensure your close enough to the client system and access-point.

  15. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

Lulz, you should just crack your router login with Hydra and re-configure his changes :P

  16. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

Use VMWare Fusion. It’s compatible with the Mac OS. Assuming your chipset is supported you should be fine.

  17. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

Part two is in the Video Responses.

  18. mushroomHEADBANGERS says:

    No, I’m explaining it.

  19. weirdo666666 says:

oh btw, I have a macbookpro and I’m running windows XP as a virtual machine through parallels, I tried using backtrack though parallels and it got fucked up. If I used VMware as to run backtrack in a virtual machine on my virtual machine how would that work out for me?

I’m like just above the line of mental retardation when it comes to computers so sorry if I just said that all wrong but I think you’ll get what I’m asking.
