    @IceArdor that’s pretty sweet. I don’t know if I’ve had Opera crash on me (I don’t spend a ton of time in it) so I haven’t noticed.

  2. IceArdor says:

    The Opera browser figures out which tab caused the crash (usually Adobe Flash) and backs up to the previous page. It’s probably a better solution, but I still don’t the 15 seconds it takes to reload all of my tabs.

    @TheSniperofDeath I don’t believe I’ve played that, but I just looked it up. very cool, thanks for mentioning it!

    @StrangeRandomChannel ah yes. I’ve been on Gmail since it was invite-only, so I was able to get most of the usernames I was interested in

  6. StrangeRandomChannel says:

    @thisweekinlinux Yeah I know duh LOL
    But all the good usernames are taken
    They need to put out more domains

  7. Stadiumhere says:

    @thisweekinlinux :-)

  8. thisweekinlinux says:

    @Stadiumhere it was a lot of fun, thanks!

    @thisweekinlinux Most interesting just too bad that I come from Germany where this feature isn’t available yet.
    On the other hand I also wonder if this feature will ever be available for us as we got some heavy debates about Google and its data protection right now.

    But of course, it sounds interesting so I would like to try it out :]

  10. Stadiumhere says:

    @thisweekinlinux Thanks for your answer. Hope you had a good time on the cruise. :-)

  11. thisweekinlinux says:

    @xanodyne thanks a ton!

  12. thisweekinlinux says:

    @MetalxShredder600 10.04.1 for now When 10.10 comes out (it’s not a final release yet) it would be better if you want newer software, but 10.04 is supposed to be more “stable”

  13. thisweekinlinux says:

    @H4x0r18 thanks! It’s been a blast so far.

  14. thisweekinlinux says:

    @Freespire44 that’s a very good idea. sort of what I’m trying to do here, just advertise. I know Ubuntu is planning to advertise more online with 10.10.

  15. thisweekinlinux says:

    @Stadiumhere I would love to show pics of everything, but I’m not sure about the copyright information. I think for the sake of reporting on it it’s ok to show it, but I’ve been careful so far.
    Yeah, I had lost a few pounds. sadly, I just got back from a cruise, so I probably gained a few back.

  16. thisweekinlinux says:

    @alreadytaken334 it said “I do it with Ubuntu”. it’s available through the canonical store.

  17. thisweekinlinux says:

    @MegaManNeo strangely enough, Gmail told me today that you can even call US/Canadian land lines with it too.

  18. thisweekinlinux says:

    @StrangeRandomChannel they’re free. ;)

  19. drmgiver says:

    @thisweekinlinux Definitely going to check it out as well.

  20. xanodyne says:

    I had no idea about Pithos. Great find. Thanks.

  21. MetalxShredder600 says:

    so is it better to use Ubuntu 10.04.1
    or the latest release of 10.10????

  22. H4x0r18 says:

    This is pretty good news! I hope that Gmal Voice Chat comes out for Linux. Oh and have a great trip man!

  23. Freespire44 says:

    After careful thinking things over I understand using You tube, Live video, my space video,and other video social networks,it’s The best way to advertise Ubuntu ,and other Linux Distributions. :Furthermore, since there are over 300 Linux Distros having 3 min. ads on commercial T.v stations would be totally Pointless. Now on The flip side some one doing a this week in Windows show would serve no Purpose on You tube, M.S all ready has You tube channel ,and has More then enough ads on T.V
