You need, virula pc 2007,vmware (I only have got the macintosh version) or innotek virual bbox, virtual pc and innotek are free but vmware no, but virtual pc 2007 doesn´t found in windows vista starter, home basic or home premium, so you can´t use on this system and a cd rom or a image, if you eant I can do a tutorial.

    Hello

    are you on about RAM?

If you are then you have more RAM than the Recommended requirement for Ubuntu and that is fine in fact the more RAM you have the better the OS will work!

  5. lixbeyond says:

how do u run virtual machines?

  6. lixbeyond says:

  7. GCS2K8 says:

Download a Virtual Machine Program such as Virtual PC 2007 (OR Windows Virtual PC BETA If you have Windows 7 and a Virtualization supported CPU!) or Virtual Box and there are more but the 2 (or 3!) above are all free downloads!

    JUST GOOGLE IT!

My card is Nvidia Geforce 6200Turbocache and my monitor HP w2207h.
On the first try wubi downloaded AMD64bit and i could not finish the install once in the OS cause of the same hang prob.
I took the i386 and i had the same prob with wubi.I pressed ESC after the dual menu and chose the option for problematic gfx (above the ACPI) this way i was able to finish the install. Now the OS is done but it hangs.Anyone with any solutions pls feel free to contact me.I feel lost.

I have been trying to set up a dual boot (win xp + ubuntu 8.10 i386) via wubi the latest exe.Downloaded 26th of march but i have some problems.Someone pls help out?
Main problem comes after install of ubuntu.I login to the OS and when i try to enable Nvidia drivers the whole OS hangs….no mouse movement nothing.
This happens even if i try to enable wireless networking.Sometimes it also happens if i leave the systtem idle for the 1st 30 secs.
    I got a 64bit 3ghz intel with nvidia 1gb ram.
