Beryl will be the standard composite windows manager on Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn. Here's a little taste of what's to come next April. In the video, Beryl runs on Edgy Eft installed on a Compaq Evo d310, 1.8 GHz, 384 MiB RAM, with a 256-MiB NVidia XFX GeForce 680 video card. Keep in mind that this is a 3 year-old configuration. You won't be able to do that with Windows Vista. …

This is incredible, I use linux on a daily basis as an sysadmin. This has even tempted me to sell my Apple Powerbook and buy a PC laptop ;’)
