Your right it is fucking stupid, and theres a few other things that are fucking stupid too but i guess it will improve as time goes on.

Gotbletu, how did you get xbmc installed in Karmic? I did the repository ok but all I get in Synaptic, all I see is keyring and some themes. (I’m running the RC)

64bit. And maybe that’s is the issue going forward, using a 64bit processor and 64bit Karmic or Linux Mint

if ur on a 32bit then install the ubuntu restricted extra, oherwise for 64bit watch that video awhile back
