EDIT: It does actually make calls and call the number but there is no sound. Here I have my T-Mobile HTC HD2, which is a Windows Mobile phone and I am going to boot Ubuntu on it. Ubuntu is a Linux Operating System for desktop and Laptop computers. It runs very nicely and is very smooth. It has text and 3G internet and all features of Ubuntu. It can’t make calls as of yet due to lack of drivers for the phone/modem. Developer’s Site: htc-linux.org Download here: gamesquare.co.uk

Unboxing style Video Review of my new LG GW620 Smartphone Mobile which has Google Android OS which is based on Linux Open Source Operating System. I demonstrate how to use the Droid Touchscreen device, the Android Market and some of the best Games and Applications which I have installed. I go over all the phones software and hardware features. This Android smartphone is way better than any Apple iPhone in my opinion. Original video production by the www.OSGUI.com Tech Show.

misa digital guitar running linux kernel 2.6.31. very fun and mesmerizing to play. sydney, australia. www.misadigital.com PLEASE NOTE that “crackling” some people are pointing out is an effect, like a bit crusher effect. It was done on purpose to show how the location of your touch effects the sound. You can apply any control parameter you want to each axis of the touch screen. This instrument is not limited to one type of effect. I personally like the sound, but it is subjective like all music is.

Me playing with version 8.10 of Ubuntu Linux on my Toshiba Portege M700. Running Avant Window Navigator (AWN Dock), Stalonetray (tray at the top right), Cellwriter (for writing while in tablet mode) and Easystroke (pen gesture control). Best part about it, it has a touch screen! Responds to both touch or the pen. If you have any questions about this setup, come join us @ http://www.omgirc.com/chat.php.
