LXDE The “Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment” LXDE can be installed on many Linux distributions including Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE and Ubuntu. It is the standard for Knoppix and lubuntu. LXDE also runs on OpenSolaris and BSD. (LXDE.org) Linux Mint is a Linux-based computer operating system best known for its usability and ease of installation, particularly for users with no previous Linux experience. It is available in several editions with different codebases, nearly all of which are based on Ubuntu, which is itself based on Debian. HUD provides a method of accessing Application Menus via the Keyboard and typing the function that you want, it also learns from previous selections that you’ve made. At the moment Its in development and doesn’t work well in all programs.
