wine 1.5.1 appdb.winehq.org www.gog.com Legend of Grimrock is a dungeon crawling role playing game with an oldschool heart mated with modern execution. A group of prisoners are sentenced to certain death by exile to the secluded Mount Grimrock for vile crimes they may or may not have committed. Unbeknownst to the captives, the mountain is riddled with ancient tunnels, dungeons and tombs built by crumbled civilizations of days long past. If they ever wish to see daylight again and reclaim their freedom, the ragtag group of prisoners must form a team and descend through the mountain, level by level. —– runs super great out of the box with linux. too bad that my recorder still messing up the frames.. tested 60 frames per sec capture also instead of 30. but no improvement. have to look for better screencast software probably:( —- Recorded with: ffmpeg dl.dropbox.com Edited with: Openshot (Profile Youtube-HD 720p 29.97 fps) Intro by: www.youtube.com System Specs: Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 955 , ~3.2GHz Memory:8 GB DDR3 (1333Mhz) Video Card:Asus Geforce 560 Ti 1GB Direct CU Sound Card:Realtek ALC889 Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 Operating System:Linux Mint 12 64bit Desktop Environment: MATE

en.wikipedia.org In graphical computing, a desktop environment (DE) commonly refers to a particular implementation of graphical user interface (GUI) derived from the desktop metaphor that is seen on most modern personal computers. These GUIs help the user in easily accessing, configuring, and modifying many important and frequently accessed specific operating system (OS) features. The GUI usually does not afford access to all the many features found in an OS. Instead, the traditional command-line interface (CLI) is still used when full control over the OS is required in such cases. A desktop environment typically consists of icons, windows, toolbars, folders, wallpapers and desktop widgets (see Elements of graphical user interfaces and WIMP). A GUI might also provide drag and drop functionality and other features that make the desktop metaphor more complete. A desktop environment aims to be an intuitive way for the user to interact with the computer using concepts which are similar to those used when interacting with the physical world, such as buttons and windows. While the term desktop environment originally described a style of user interfaces following the desktop metaphor, it has also come to describe the programs that realize the metaphor itself. This usage has been popularized by the Common Desktop Environment and the K Desktop Environment.

This video is of Fedora 15, but the steps are exactly the same as for Fedora 16. Please leave feedback or any questions. Instructions below: 1. Go to www.fedoraproject.org, click Download and download the 32 bit if your PC is older. Get the 64 bit if you’re running an Intel i3 or later computer. 2. Open the downloads folder, right-click the fedora file you downloaded and in Windows 7, click ‘burn to image’ with a blank CD-R in your CD drive. 3. Once finished, restart your PC. in the bottom left corner it shows the button you need to tap repeatedly on start up to enter the BIOS. Usually it is Del, F12 or the ESC. Find out, restart and tap the button until BIOS appears. 4. Change the boot priority order so the Primary device is the CD-Rom drive. use the keyboard with the Enter key and Escape to navigate the menus and make this change. Save and exit. 5. Fedora disc should boot. choose boot, and once done, choose Install to hard drive. Fill out the forms. 6. Once complete, restart and enter BIOS again, tap the button and put your hard drive back as the first device. 7. When Fedora starts there’s one more menu to fill in. Then it has competed. Also during startup, to enter the GRUB menu, it will prompt you to press any key to enter. You can choose to boot Fedora or Windows if you have that installed also.
