Install virtualbox Guest Additions in Linux Ubuntu Slightly harder than it is in Windows, but still quite easy when you know how to do it. I hope to do Ubuntu videos, but I have to get used to the UI and GUI. Ubuntu is a very good OS, but I still prefer Windows and OS X, but it’s a good free alternative to Windows. virtualbox is a great app, but if you don’t have the guest additions it’s very boring. In part one, I show you just how quick and simple it is to install Ubuntu Linux on your computer. In this scenario I am installing it in a virtual machine with Ubuntu 64 bit. The installation is far more simple than other versions of Linux, and is very quick to install as well. It only took around 10 minutes or so for the files to copy over.
