This is a demo of my Fedora 12 desktop, running Compiz Fusion for 3d effects (I did have to do some work to code my Nvidia drivers to get 3d enabled effects.) I am also running a AWN dock with the “squish” feature enabled to make my dock icons jump. I have on Wiggle Windows which is the windows that shake around and snap into place. I have 3d Cube enabled, with features like transparent cube and things like that (you can have a much higher number of workstations, I just use 4). I am working to install a video capture straight from the desktop, but recordmydesktop and others don’t seem to work in good quality, not sure what is wrong, if anyone has ideas, pleassse help me! Elements is a plugin for Compiz Fusion which integrates all the features of the popular Snow, Autumn, Fireflies, and Stars plugins, plus an all new feature, Bubbles. Written from the ground-up with only open source software, Elements is designed to be free, fast, and fun. It’s also fully customizable. You want flower petals falling in spring? Draw the petals and use them with the Autumn feature. Want to have toasters flying towards you at warp speed? Take a picture of your toaster and use it with the Stars feature. Feel really adventuresome? Take a look at the code and make it your own. Elements is completely free and released under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
